Simple Pick-upper

During my time inside the college student union last year as co-head of the programs & activities group, I got to meet a lot of local Chinese friends.  I had fun with them, hung out with them during our very few meetings together, said hi and hello when bumping into each other inside the college, and even shared Philippine dried mangoes with them. Now this sounds really strange and random and unimportant, but I played a really minor role and didn’t expect to get remembered for it. However, during a recent sending-off ceremony the new student union organized for us: let’s just say that I was really touched that so much was remembered and appreciated.

Roughly translates as: we love you! 😀

It doesn’t matter what race they come in, but this is what I know – making new friends rock!  Hahaha.
